Introducing the Tyrolean Sitter from OhDub Glass, the first piece of their 2025 “Tobacciana Series”. Crafted with a silver & gold fume bowl and stummel, and a Northstar Yellow over Blackjack stem, this piece is inspired by the traditional Tyrolean Pipes.
The Tyrolean pipe is a traditional smoking pipe originating in the Tyrol region of the Alps, which spans parts of Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. This pipe shape is distinct for its long stem and often ornately carved bowl, which may feature motifs from Alpine culture. The design was influenced by the pastoral lifestyle of the region, where smoking pipes were a popular pastime and status symbol among shepherds and villagers.
The long stem helps to cool the smoke, while the bottom chamber collects the ash and tar.
